Job Description:

What is CAR-T?

Imagine empowering the body’s own immune system to fight cancer. That’s exactly what CAR-T therapy does. It uses a patient’s own T-cells, reprogramming them to target and destroy cancer cells. This advanced therapy holds the promise to change lives — and you can be part of that journey.

As Manager Project Engineering, you’ll lead technical projects from start to finish. From commissioning equipment to optimizing workflows, you’ll help ensure our facilities in Ghent and Beerse operate smoothly. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, tackle technical challenges, and ensure everything is ready to deliver life-saving treatments.

What your day might look like:

  • You’re guiding your team through complex technical challenges, finding practical solutions together.

  • You’re in close contact with partners and suppliers, making sure projects stay on track and on budget.

  • You’re rolling up your sleeves when needed, diving into technical details to keep things moving.

  • You’re always looking for ways to improve — whether it’s processes, equipment, or teamwork.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning & qualification (C&Q) and project management.

  • A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy taking the lead but aren’t afraid to get into the details.

  • A strong understanding of GMP guidelines and experience with audits or inspections.

  • A collaborative and open approach — you thrive on teamwork and knowledge sharing.

  • Fluent English communication skills (Dutch at C1 level is a plus).

  • Flexibility to work across Ghent (70%) and Beerse (30%).

What we offer:

  • A meaningful role where your work has a direct impact on cancer patients’ lives.

  • A supportive environment that values your growth, creativity, and contributions.

  • A diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
