Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant in ZIONSVILLE, Indiana. This role is primarily focused on handling various documents such as applications, paperwork, checks, and transfer forms for new business annuities. You will be tasked with managing the check register, preparing and processing outgoing benefit checks, and maintaining records of archived documents.
Responsibilities:
• Handle various documents including applications, paperwork, checks, and transfer forms for new business annuities
• Identify, scan, and index documents accurately and efficiently
• Manage the check register for incoming checks
• Scan and deliver checks to the treasury department for processing and deposit
• Prepare and process outgoing benefit checks to clients
• Maintain records of archived documents for retention and destruction
• Involve in purchasing for office supplies and other inventory management tasks Requirements • Proficiency in Document Scanning and Indexing
• Knowledge of Annuities and Financial Records
• Experience in Check Processing
• Ability to handle Outgoing Correspondence
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical stamina to carry out manual tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet software
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
