Job Description
Oracle Database Cloud is one of the fastest growing database services on the market today. Oracle has been delivering the best-in-class Database software on top of sophisticated security infrastructure components in the Cloud as a Database Service. DB Cloud Test Development team is a part of Database division at Oracle Corporation and is chartered to develop software for evaluating and measuring the quality of the Database Cloud Services.
Our team with its innovative development infrastructure and practices helps craft technology that has been important for a large number of global big companies and different Government departments. The team foresees Database product and Database Cloud Services usage scenarios and develops automated test framework, tests, and tools to simulate real life scenarios to ensure that customers get the highest quality Database Cloud Services.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of software development processes (design, development, and testing)
• Work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, exciting, and rapidly growing environment.
• Proficiency in Java, Perl, Python, C
• Knowledge on SQL, Database concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies as the cloud landscape evolves

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Test Development: Design and develop automated test scripts to validate functionality of Multi-cloud services
• Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, and define test scenarios
• Execution & Debugging: Execute automated and manual tests to identify bugs, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless deployment and continuous testing of ADB-D
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test results, and bug reports. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of testing processes and outcomes
• Collaboration: Work with development, product manager and release management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
