DESCRIPTION OF WORK The County Behavioral Health Program Specialist will function primarily as the Community Hospital Integration Project Program (CHIPP) Coordinator under the supervision and direction of the Adult Behavioral Health Base Service Unit Director. This individual will be responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive system of services that will be developed and/or expanded to serve people who are admitted and discharged from State Hospitals and to divert additional behavioral health consumers from using state hospitals. The position will mainly be located at Torrance State Hospital.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week, upon successful completion of the required 6 month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Youngwood. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
