Aerotek Machine Operator in YORK, Pennsylvania
Job Title: First shift Machine Operator 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Job Description
These positions are responsible for the overall operation of the machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products while meeting deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities include providing training and direction to Assistant Machine Operators, assisting with creating standard operating procedures (SOP) and other production-related documentation, inventory data-entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance at departmental, production, safety, and company meetings. Specifically, in the Grinding department, the role involves operating a machine that grinds tires into small crumbs.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to produce high-quality products
Provide training and direction to Assistant Machine Operators
Assist in creating SOP and production-related documentation
Perform inventory data-entry
Cross-train into other job functions as needed
Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings regularly
Operate a grinding machine to process tires into small crumbs
Essential Skills
Machine operation experience
Sit-Down Forklift operation experience
High School Diploma/GED
4 years of machine operator/manufacturing experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
