POSITION SUMMARY
Support all HR related matters, including recruitment, reporting, payroll administration, benefits, taxation, retirement plans and compliance throughout the year.
Overall efficient operation of HR operations.
Support in planning and organizing associate events.
HR Office administration
Business activities
Payroll vendor management
Management and implementation of the entire payroll process under the supervision of the HR Director
Payroll, bonus and inhabitant tax payments via internet banking
Update and file associate leave request data
Verification of documents such as attendance and overtime records
Updating personal transfer information for payroll purposes
Supporting resident tax administration throughout the year
Support expatriates (expats) with year-end adjustment paperwork and tax return paperwork
Provides administrative support for expatriates on long-term leave (sick leave, maternity leave).
Conduct industrial health committee meetings.
- Arrangement of documents and materials required for meetings, preparation of minutes.
Administration of welfare schemes, such as retirement schemes, health insurance, insurance, etc.
Management of records of health check-ups, stress checks, etc.
Administration of award schemes.
Liaison and coordination with candidates for new hires who have passed the selection process. On/Off boarding procedures.
Transfer and taskforce practices within Marriott Group companies (including Expat management)
Internal communication in preparation for new employees (EID, SAM, email address, business cards, desk, PC, corporate credit card, etc.).
Paperwork for new employees, including social insurance applications for our office and newly opened hotel employees.
Assist in managing recruitment agencies and recruiters and posting and updating the Marriott Recruitment webpage.
Assist with managing new employee applications, screening, arranging interviews and liaising with candidates.

Prepare monthly reports (e.g., finance report, head count reports, turnover reports, other salary and benefits related data).
Utilize mHUB system (internal HR system) efficiently.
Updating employee lists, organization charts and directories.
Preparation of working time reports and reporting of attendance data.
Budgeting and expense management
Preparation and management of employee handbook and other local service operation procedure documentation.
Conducting new employee orientation.
- Organizes and takes initiative for associates' events and activities.
- Respond to enquiries and questions from associates
Responding to requests from hotels for the imprinting of the official company seal.
Arranging for company records and certificates of the company seal.
Mail management
Administrative work in the canteen
Locker room administration clerical work
Other general affairs and HR-related administrative work.
Required Skills
Knowledge of HR and labor affairs (especially payroll and labor-related knowledge)
Strong communication skills: Japanese and English (business level or above)
Building trusting relationships with associates and stakeholders
Business etiquette, time management skills and ability to achieve targets
Establish and maintain appropriate filing systems (ability to gather information and organise documents)
Professionalism/ownership (ability to work in a hands-on manner)
PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications HR qualifications holder preferred.

2 years or 4years of university degree or above
Qualifications
At least 5 years' experience in human resources, particularly in payroll and labor management
English/Japanese proficiency (Native or high business level)
PC skills (Excel: Pivot, V-lookup, etc. required)
