Manufacturing Engineering Technician- 1st shift
SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team in Wyomissing, PA. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on mentality, a passion for manufacturing processes, and a relentless drive for continuous improvement. You will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Design, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance to drive process improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Work closely with department leaders and team members to identify opportunities for implementing digitization tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve data collection and analysis.
• Initiate and lead automation projects to enhance productivity, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall process reliability.
• Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues on the production floor.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to manufacturing processes and automation.
• 3D Modeling (preferable Autocad or Catia)
• Manage quality issues related to machine components
• Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
• Vocational background in manufacturing, operations, maintenance
• Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process optimization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Experience with automation technologies such as robotics, PLCs, and SCADA systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
