POSITION SUMMARY The AC & DC Electrician will be responsible for all 100v and 24v wires and equipment to be installed. They will read truck specification books to know what all is required. The AC & DC Electrician will install all electrical components onto the fire apparatus. Also, they will prepare for light installation by drilling holes and fabricating. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Installs all electrical components onto ARFF fire apparatus and performs any cable management as needed. Routes and equips 100v and 24v wires in Panthers in order to connect the electrical components of the truck. Tests equipment and diagnose electrical problems. Prepares for light installation by drilling holes and fabricating. Reads truck specification books to know what all is required to complete the build of the fire truck apparatus. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, and tape measure.
