JOB REQUIREMENTS: We have 2 full time positions available. One week of vacation at hire, one week at 6 months and 2 weeks at 1 year! Outstanding benefits for a full-time position! Part time employees are eligible for WI State Retirement and Vacation! Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, offices and common areas. Sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver linen to the residents of the facility. A list of the job duties, requirements, working conditions, etc. can be found on the Columbia County web site @ www.co.columbia.wi.us Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Training provided on site. Able to work independently. Stand on feet for up to 8 hours.
