This Service Contract Renewal Specialist position is responsible for proactively renewing service contracts for an assigned territory to maintain and grow service contract revenue. The Service Contract Renewals Representative will need to quickly build customer rapport and leverage customer relationships and Hach value propositions, thereby moving opportunities to close. Representatives will receive support and guidance from management and other internal departments; however, it is imperative that a self-starter mentality is in place, along with the ability to manage and build their territory. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus earnings, and the opportunity to take advantage of Veralto Enterprise System (VES) trainings and certifications. In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Responsible for managing Service Contract Renewals by maintaining customer touchpoints; and accountable for delivering annual Service Contract Revenue Plan and on-time renewal rates

  • Engage clients via phone and e-mail, to maximize the customer experience when their Service Contract is due for renewal

  • Provide quotations, cross-sell, up-sell, minimize discounting & Review commercial legal terms, and escalate as needed

  • Utilise funnel management best practices to manage and win opportunities

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Sales, Service Development, Dispatch, Tech Support) to improve processes and leverage the best resources to close business and support customers & Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasure where appropriate, to support continuous growth and improvement

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3 years progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a business-to-business environment

  • Effective organizational and time management skills
