Residents and fellows rotate through the incumbents unit and are assigned to the incumbents patient care team. The incumbent sees patients with the residents and fellows. The residents and fellows discuss and determine the patients course of treatment under the incumbents supervision. Provide diagnoses, clinical care, and non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries to adult patients. Admit and treat patients as an attending physician, conduct history and physical exams on patients and consults, and coordinate care of patients with nursing assistance. Participate in continuing medical education seminars and clinical teaching. Requirements: MD; Massachusetts Medical License: 3 year residency in Internal Medicine.
