*Nature of the Work: * Experienced level position for skilled painter and other craftsmen in prepping and painting parts after cosmetic repair work is complete to efficiently refinish damaged vehicles to Pro-Touch standards of quality.

Essential Job Duties[1]{#_ftnref1 rel="nofollow"}:

• Refinish all types of vehicles
• Prep / Tape vehicles and vehicle parts, as needed, to protect unpainted surfaces
• Load / Remove vehicles from spray booth
• Prepare repaired vehicles and surfaces of vehicles for primer and final paint application
• Mix paint, primers, sealers and clear on smart scale
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Oversee inventory of paint and materials
• Ensure safe movement of vehicles in, out and through the shop

• Assist in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity

   

Duties May Also Include:

• Buff and/or clean surfaces after all intermediate coats of paint
• Polish final coat of paint
• Remove / Replace moldings and trim
• Apply undercoating material on replaced parts and/or surfaces not readily accessible
• Perform any other duties as requested and needed by craftsmen and management for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair
• Inspect painted sections and surfaces for quality and continuity

• Transport vehicles as needed

   

Job Requirements:

• Willing to submit to and ability to pass pre- employment and random drug screenings
• Maintain a current driver license with good standing
• Dependable and punctual with an excellent work ethic
• Ability to stand/bend for extended periods of time and to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
• Project a professional and courteous attitude
• Effectively communicate with and respond to feedback and questions from all other Pro-Touch team members
• Good judge of the qualities of things, services, and people
• Supply own tools as needed for position
• Creative thinking and ability to problem solve
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Team oriented with the attitude to train and teach others
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wear all safety and health personal protective equipment as mandated
