Position Summary

The Executive Creative Director of Heart Haus will lead a large in-house team by leading the concept development and vision for initiatives across three diverse and interconnected business units . This candidate must be a proven senior level Creative Director who can generate big, transformative ideas, thought provoking narratives, high creative aesthetics and advanced knowledge of marketing, branding and communications. The ECD must develop work that meets business objectives while being relevant to consumers. The ECD must be able to find the emotional resonance inside the rational information.

The Executive Creative Director will guide and partner with internal teams in the development of creative briefs, pitches and presentations and will be responsible for ensuring that the brand is being properly represented in look, feel and voice. That will mean being willing/able to roll up sleeves and sit side by side with designers and creatives to advance the work and demonstrate what good looks like.

In addition, the Executive Director must inspire the teams to be excited about all the diverse communication assets we produce – the maintenance ones as much as the transformative ones.

The Executive Director must build strong, productive relationships with the leaders of the Brand, Experience and Digital practices – to ensure consistency and cohesion of work and to harness the diverse skills of Heart Haus.

The Leader will be asked to work in collaboration and partnership with external agencies as well – to help evolve, augment and refine their work to be successful.

The Leader will engage with Marketing partners and senior leaders throughout the organization . The ability to form productive, effective relationships with these stakeholders is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Direct teams working across a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.

  • Provide inspirational and aspirational leadership to all of Heart Haus.

  • Mentor team to develop impactful, breakthrough campaigns and experiences that deliver business results and bring the brand to life.

  • Cultivate an engaging atmosphere leading to the development and execution of impactful creative.

  • Partner with leaders of the other creative practices to ensure optimum effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Develop, impact, and maintain trusted partnerships with peers, internal business partners and external agencies.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years or greater of multi-channel Creative leadership experience in agency and/or corporate environment.

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop talent for a team of 25 or more.

  • Passion for strategic and creative problem solving and an understanding of design thinking applied to the ideation of various initiatives.

  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to impact and influence individuals at senior levels-both internally and externally.

  • Thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Well organized and able to provide real-time feedback and clearly communicate ideas and strategies.

  • Award earning creative skill sets essential for the execution of owned, earned and paid media touchpoints.

  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, which may include extended hours and travel when necessary to meet deadlines.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail industry experience

  • Enterprise level campaign experience

  • B2C - Business to Consumer and/or D2C- Direct to Consumer experience

EducationBachelor Degree Required

Master Degree Preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$131,500.00 - $303,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
