Robert Half Bookkeeper in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. As a Bookkeeper, you will have a central role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The industry focus is on account reconciliation, data entry, and payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities
• Utilize Sage 100 software for various accounting tasks
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure accuracy in data entry and customer credit records
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly
• Engage in month-end close activities
• Assist in onboarding and HR related tasks
• Work closely with the accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data and report findings
• Process payroll for company employees using QuickBooks software. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Must have a good understanding and experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge and handling of Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Should be well-versed with Bank Reconciliations
• Must possess strong Bookkeeping skills
• Data Entry skills are essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Must have experience in Month End Close procedures
• Should be able to manage Payroll effectively
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a must
• Experience with Sage 100 software is desirable
