Actalent Quality Engineer in Woodridge, Illinois
Job Title: Quality Engineer
This is a 9-month contract role for an experienced Quality Engineer with a growing company! This contract can be extended or converted to a full time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up standard operating procedures (SOPs) for complex assemblies. Seeking candidates with strong leadership capabilities as well.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing with industrial equipment
Root Cause Analysis and CAPA experience
Collaborative leadership skills
Extensive hands-on plant floor experience
Bilingual abilities is a plus!
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years’ experience or five years’ experience in a related quality position.
Experience in manufacturing processes in a production environment.
Knowledge of quality audits, quality control, and quality inspections.
Knowledge of inspection methodology and techniques.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
