What to expect this role to do? The (Apprentice) Maintenance Technician provides maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Hourly Rate: $21 - $24/hr (DOE)/ + SPIFF
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist performing preventative maintenance on residential HVAC equipment.
- Communicate with customer to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent premature/unexpected breakdowns
- Responsible for performing cleaning, adjusting, calibrating and measuring equipment components needed to complete the preventative maintenance experience.
- Use hand-held device to record all required information on customer call. Complete forms and paperwork. Collects payment from customer
Qualifications and Characteristics that you have:
- Mechanically Inclined or past mechanical experience in HVAC, automotive, or general maintenance industries
- Comfortable with professional communication to the customers you serve
- Valid WA driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Willingness to invest time in training and classes
Education desired:
- Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School a plus
- NATE Certified a plus
- EPA Certification a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
