Job Summary

This role is primarily responsible for the coordination, analysis, and generation of Dominion Energy’s Power Generation fleet station/plant compliance reports to support and maintain compliance with North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) and Independent System Operator (ISO) tariff regulatory requirements. The incumbent works collaboratively with the Power Generation Regulatory Compliance (PGRC) department as the Power Generation liaison to ensure the implementation of the Company's comprehensive compliance programs for Power Generation assets. Responsible for monitoring internal controls programs to ensure station/plant compliance with NERC and company procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements. Generates compliance reports, gathers and prepares supporting documentation for station/plant, communicates new reporting requirements to management, and prepares and presents periodic reports and status updates to management and/or Power Generation's Regulatory Compliance. As the Power Generation fleet NERC Compliance Coordinator, duties include, but are not limited to, the maintenance of the internal controls monthly check sheets, self-certification packages, compilation of evidence to demonstrate compliance for each applicable Generator Owner/Generator Operator standard, and associated requirements, and maintenance of the monthly scheduled updates for the facilities. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of station/plant cyber security infrastructure and physical security control programs. Coordination of Power Generation Department of homeland Security Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT) Alert and Advisory assessments in accordance with the established IT Corporate and PGRC defined process. Coordinator for Power Generation fleet PowerCat change management process, inventory of cyber assets, and baseline management. Confers with management regularly, recommends specific action on various NERC compliance matters and/or concerns. Responsible for reviewing station policies and procedures; recommends contact and implementation strategies to support Dominion Energy compliance program initiatives. Develops internal processes to ensure compliance with NERC requirements. Assesses, identifies, and prioritizes NERC compliance risks based on the federal, national, and regional requirements. Serves as the station/plant's source of best practice information and keeps abreast of trends and issues to design, implement, communicate and administer NERC compliance programs. Provides honest, candid, and timely responses to appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and responsible management. Coordinate, schedules, and implement an on-going internal self-audit process to ensure audit readiness. Monitors programs to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. In addition, this role is responsible for leading assigned projects such as the review and analysis of Generating Availability Data System (GADS) performance, or any assigned regulatory or station/plant related projects. Compiles and analyzes various data sources to identify station/plant issues, researches and develops recommendations, strategies, and protocols as appropriate. As the project lead, responsible for the oversight, coordination and assignment of team members. Provides management updates and progress reports as directed; responds to internal and external inquiries as needed. Provides input and recommendations to management in defining project parameters, communicating project findings, and implementing recommendations. This position may have non-Dominion Energy workers in their span of control. This position is going to support Bear Garden, Possum Point, Remington and Ladysmith.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-5-6+ years of power generation, with a working knowledge and understanding of regulations and policies governing regulatory compliance in a power station, with particular emphasis on NERC Compliance Program Familiarity with Mercury Air Toxic Standards (MATS), or Maximum Achievement Control Technology (MACT) is strongly desired, but not required.

-Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and Independent decision-making expertise.

-Ability to compile, to analyze, and interpret information and data to make sound decisions and recommendations.

-Previous power plant and/or regulatory compliance experience required.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
