Description We are offering a role for a Web Administrator, located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The job function will primarily involve managing and maintaining websites, ensuring their accessibility, functionality, and security. The industry we operate in is the telecom sector. This is a temporary employment opportunity that comes with an extensive range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the accessibility and security of websites.
• Develop, maintain, and update clear documentation for web hosting services.
• Produce and update knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Liaise with hosting providers and document details of each website, access, and support.
• Oversee the renewal of SSL and domain names.
• Conduct regular backups and recovery procedures to protect data.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot to resolve web-related issues.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.
• Document issues and their resolutions for future reference.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on system status and projects.
• Generate reports on server performance, security incidents, and other key metrics.
• Keep records of changes, updates, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with IT, marketing, content creators, and other stakeholders to align web strategies with organizational goals.

• User Manuals Requirements • Proficiency in website administration including managing web server configurations, databases, and software installations
• Demonstrated experience in website maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting technical issues, updating website content, and ensuring optimal website performance
• Expertise in website optimization including SEO, load speed optimization, and user experience enhancement
• Ability to perform regular website updates to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant
• Thorough understanding of knowledge base management, capable of creating and managing user manuals and help documents
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to think quickly and perform problem-solving tasks, even within high-stress environments
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively explaining complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Familiarity with various web technologies and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative mindset
