Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator in the construction and contractor industry.
Responsibilities:
• Update payroll information for new hires, promotions, transfers, or terminations.
• Compute wages, commissions, deductions, and benefits accurately.
• Issue and distribute paychecks in a timely manner.
• Ensure the company remains in compliance with policies, tax, regulations, and deduction laws.
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Kronos Timekeeping System, and Microsoft Excel for various payroll tasks.
• Administer 401k - RRSP, About Time, Accounting Functions, and Benefit Functions.
• Ensure accurate check processing.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Attend to any payroll related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection guidelines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have payroll experience.
