LAKE DELTON STATE BANK Bank Teller / Customer Service Represent in WISCONSIN DELLS, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: A teller is someone who operates a teller window, accurately processing a variety of banking transactions. A teller will provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. A teller listens to help identify the customer\'s needs and then offers suitable Bank products and services or, if necessary, refers the customer to the appropriate department to meet the customer\'s needs. Tellers are important members of the team and are responsible for making the customers feel valued. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide the highest quality service to all customers and exceed their expectations Accurately and efficiently process financial transactions Contribute to branch goals by identifying and cross-selling products and services that align with customer\'s needs Comply with Bank policies and procedures including but not limited to: Maintain confidentiality of all customer account information Gaining working knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act Obtaining appropriate identification documentation from Bank customers or non-customers Abide by and utilize dual control to process certain financial transactions Answer customer inquiries, process night/ATM deposits, and vault transactions. Perform clerical duties as required Customer Service Representatives are responsible for offering and selling financial products and services to both consumer and business customers. They play a vital role in developing lifelong financial relationships with our customers based on quality delivery of our Bank\'s products and services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Meet and greet customers Customer service skills Open and process new accounts including DDA, savings, IRA\'s and certificates of deposit Cross sell the bank\'s services and products Research and answer customer inquiries; quote products and Rates Assist in answering phone or e-mail inquiries or forwarding to appropriate bank personnel Resolve problems for customers as necessary Safety deposit box services Update and maintain current customer information Order checks Process return mail Yellowhammer input ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other duties as assigned Continue education to keep current with regulations GENERAL APTITUDES: Good PC skills with proficiency in learning new software applications Ability to effectively communicate with bank customers and management Willingness to be a team player Ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity Neat and accurate workmanship Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills Self-motivated and resourceful Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: High school graduate or equivalent 1-3 years retail sales experience preferred Basic Microsoft Office skills Working knowledge of Silverlake Deposit System and CFI System preferred but will train Ability to operate standard office equipment Bilingual language skills a plus but not required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May require lifting bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds May require standing for extended periods of time May require bending and stooping HOURS: 40 hours per week (full-time) This position is available for our Full-Time employee benefits package.
