Adecco US, Inc. Heat Pump Installation Technician in Winthrop, Maine
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Heat Pump Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installation, particularly with heat pump systems, and will be dedicated to providing high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Position: HVAC Heat Pump Installer: Location: Winthrop, Maine Pay Rate: $25 - $32 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair heat pump systems in residential and commercial settings.
Perform system start-ups and commissioning for new installations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of the work being performed and any necessary follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and time logs.
Collaborate with team members to improve installation techniques and efficiency.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in HVAC is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in HVAC installation, with a focus on heat pump systems.
Valid HVAC technician certification (EPA 608 Certification, NATE Certification, etc.).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to perform job-related tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
