Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. Marketing Manager in Winsted, Minnesota

NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Marketing Manager. This role will act as the project manager and administrator to execute on a wide variety of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive business growth and positive image within and outside of the organization. This includes promoting Millerbernd’s products and services to existing and prospective customers, and current and potential employees through strategic use of brand, graphics, content marketing, digital marketing, email marketing, marketing communications (internal / external), and other promotional products.

As a Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Responsible for executing social media strategy, overseeing monthly calendar and managing social spend Deploy successful marketing campaigns in accordance with our 3-year strategic plan

  • Coordinate external and internal marketing campaigns

  • Produce multimedia content such as videos, animations, and interactive graphics to enhance marketing efforts.

  • Drive Marketing and Outreached plan in alignment with Millerbernd Core Values General duties in digital marketing, public relations, research & analytics, and social media marketing

  • Collaborate with others as part of a high-performance team and to fully understand product and communication needs

  • Monitor and maintain the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis

  • Gather materials necessary to understand projects and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique

  • Based on assessment, drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia

  • May attend trade shows and community fairs and staff the company booth

  • Evaluate success of campaigns when completed

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Coordinate creative workflow with outside design partners

    Role Qualifications as a Marketing Manager:

    Essential Job Functions

Content Marketing

  • Provide support for internal communications including all employee meetings & other events

  • Oversee Millerbernd photo and video archive and repository

  • Creation of social media content with in-house tools in addition to manage outside partners

Digital Marketing

  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and brand recognition

  • Coordinate multimedia packages, including video, and advertising content for internal and external consumption

  • Schedule and coordinate filming scripts and production

  • Oversee website hosting and updates

  • Manage and maintain the company's website content, ensuring it is up-to-date and visually appealing.

Sales Enablement

  • Coordinate and manage marketing materials for events and trade shows

  • Oversee development/design of PowerPoint templates to help support sales initiatives

  • Prepare published, printed or electronic deliverables required to support the goals of the business units

  • Direct promotional item budgets, selections, and distribution patterns for customers

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, or another related field.

  • Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience with business to business sales or marketing, and/or business content development. Other combinations of formal training, education and experience may be considered.

    Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

  • Preference for candidates with experience in business & industry related markets

  • Advanced presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Advanced expertise in MS Office applications, particularly using PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing techniques is desirable.

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented, especially customer-facing

  • Takes initiative and produces high-quality results with minimal amount of management or direction

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with web design and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; must be able to handle multiple internal and external demands simultaneously

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify original branding opportunities

  • Performs other duties as assigned
