As our Director of Information Technology, you will architect our digital landscape, driving our technological strategy and ensuring our operations run seamlessly and efficiently.

As a Director of IT, you will lead:
Information Systems Leadership
Champion Technology: Lead and take key responsibility for all organizational hardware and software
Support Excellence: Oversee the IT help desk and ticketing system, ensuring high levels of support and responsiveness
Strategic Decisions: Set policies for purchasing and maintaining technology, including decisions between Cloud and On-Prem solutions
Risk Management and Performance Analysis
Collaborative Safeguarding: Work with colleagues on maintenance and disaster recovery of business systems
Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, data security standards, and data processing schedules
System Integrity: Ensure timely system backups, maintenance, server upgrades, and patching
Security Measures: Provide and support high-end firewalling, intrusion inspection, malware protection, and other relevant system security measures
Financial Stewardship: Create and manage the IT annual budget and lead the conversation around defining our AI strategy
Strategy Development and Integration
Strategic Vision: Develop and oversee a strategic comprehensive information systems plan aligned with the organization’s growth targets
Business Requirements: Work with leadership to determine technology business requirements, provide advice on evaluation, ROI, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information systems
Process Decisions: Ensure a systematic process for decisions on whether to make, buy, or outsource technology
Business Systems Enhancement
ERP Direction: Create direction for the power user group to leverage ERP and other system functionality
Process Improvements: Identify and propose new business process enhancements
Growth Facilitation: Facilitate company growth and scalability through systems thinking
Documentation: Document standard work for users
Leadership and Supervision
Team Development: Foster a customer service-oriented technology team that encourages company improvement and efficiency opportunities
Coaching: Coach and develop the team to grow beyond their individual skill sets
Prioritize Improvements: Use metrics to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, or related field
5+ years of progressively responsible professional experience managing or directing an information systems environment that includes ERP
Advanced understanding of ERP system utilization within a manufacturing environment
Strong project management skills
Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and providing outstanding business results from vision to implementation and support
Thorough knowledge of trends in the industry, database engines, operating systems, servers, and telecommunications hardware and software
Understanding of paperless and mobile applications as they relate to a manufacturing shop floor environment
Ability to manage time well and work on multiple priorities simultaneously
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and managing effective vendor relationships
Highly motivated towards solving business needs and improving processes
Ability to understand the financial impact of business processes
