Job Description IT Support Analyst-Corporate Applications 212 W 2nd St, Winona, MN 55987 HEADD Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time IT Support Analyst, you will act as the primary support contact for internal staff related to several custom applications including Fastenal's accounting, procurement and manufacturing applications. You will help troubleshoot issues with computer software and/or escalate the issue to other teams for resolution. You will explain basic concepts and procedures in a clear, concise, easy to understand manner for a large and diverse set of users. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Supporting custom software for Fastenal employees in all departments o Handling incoming calls, emails, self-service Help Desk tickets, incidents and requests o Detailing accurate information in the incident or requests forms o Collaborating with colleagues and leadership to provide prompt and accurate customer service o Resolving and escalating Help Desk incidents and requests REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities and attention to detail o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Posses experience troubleshooting technical problems involving software and hardware o Posses experience in a technology focused position o Posses experience querying databases ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
