TEKsystems Administrative Assistant in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Our client, a leader in the investment industry, is looking to add an administrative assistant in Winnipeg on a full-time contract basis.

The job responsibilities for this position include, and are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support to 2 Vice Presidents, including calendar management, coordinating meeting logistics, processing and coordinating invoice payments, coordinating travel arrangements and expense reports

  • Responsible for providing departmental support for all components, such as onboarding/offboarding staff, obtaining building access cards, and being a point of contact for all related activities

  • Supporting the teams by performing ad-hoc administrative tasks such as preparing spreadsheets, analyzing data, and creating presentations in PowerPoint

  • Ordering and maintaining general office supplies and equipment maintenance

  • Assisting with department social events and Town Halls

  • Performing general accounting and other administrative duties as required

  • Providing coverage and sharing duties with other members of the administrative team as required

Qualifications for this role are:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant

  • Previous experience supporting high-level executives

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint at the intermediate/advanced level

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

This will start as a 6 month contract position with the opportunity to move into a permanent position if performance is exceeding expectations

Will be expected to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office

Will have access to benefits during the contract period
