Senior Analyst, Procurement will be working on the Power & Controls Engineered Items & Electronics Supply Chain team. The Senior Analyst will manage multiple suppliers within a global supply chain team and be expected to effectively communicate and negotiate with their suppliers. Additional tasks such as launching request for quotes and purchase orders account reconciliation/payment. Managing and manipulating schedules and driving corrective action at the suppliers for best effort deliveries. This role will engage with many internal and external customers that require communicating with a sense of urgency at various levels of leadership. Holistic account management of the assigned suppliers is expected which includes driving positive results through creation, monitoring, and driving key performance indicators and metrics for better performance. The individual will be required to work individually and as a team to achieve organizational goals and milestones.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost through active negotiations.

  • Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other industry data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

  • Carries out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RMAs, RTV, receiving grief, and MRB issues.

  • Gather data for applicable reports to aid in making short and long-term business decisions for procurement activities.

  • Communicate and work closely with different internal organizations such as quality and engineering to overcome any production and quality impediments.

  • Assemble reports and presentations to share with senior management and internal customers.

  • Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Directs and manages all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family.

  • Interacts with multiple organizations including Collins Supply Chain Leads, Supplier Quality, and Engineering.

  • Other projects assigned and directed by Leadership.

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10-15% of the time

What You Will Learn:

  • Through this position, you will gain valuable experience in procurement, supplier management, negotiation, and program scheduling. While certifications are not provided by the company, the role offers ample opportunities for professional growth and development within the aerospace industry.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ​

  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • SAP experience would be desirable.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
