Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join one of the leading global manufacturing companies in the aviation and aerospace industries as a Mechanical Assembler. . As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling pre-formed sheet metal components using various tools, interpreting drawings and sketches, maintaining a daily time log, and performing sub-assemblies for custom-built units. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined and have experience using hand and power tools.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with drills, wrenches, and other hand/power tools

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and sketches

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Windsor, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, with the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Overtime is available and preferred during the busy season, including weekends. The large shop floor accommodates over 170 people during the 1st shift. The environment can be fast pace due to the high volume of ongoing projects. Employees are expected to wear jeans and shirts and will be provided a uniform and necessary tools. Steel-toed boots are required.
