Aerotek Restoration Technician in Winchester, Virginia
Aerotek's client is looking for Restoration Technicians to join their team in the NOVA area
Responsibilities
Supervise and self-perform Water Damage Basic and Intermediate tasks
Manage large loss sites or specialized remediation requirements
Create moisture maps using tools and knowledge provided
Supervise multiple crews simultaneously on multiple projects
Select appropriate disposal options and get release of liability for disposed items
Essential Skills
Restoration
Remediation
Water damage restoration technician
Water mitigation
Moisture meter
Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
Current IICRC ASD designation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mastery of Water Damage Book
Proper use of appropriate meters and IR camera
Understanding of affected vs unaffected building materials and contents
Understanding of air mover calculation and LGR dehumidification chart
Electrical power spec and electrical circuits knowledge
Mastery in the use of HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer, or equivalent
Proficiency in a building environment, thermodynamics, psychrometry
Experience in 'Burping' a building
Containment of HVAC supply and/or return air (CAT 3/Mold)

Work Environment
Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs and occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time).
Access and mobility in tight spaces.
Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling. Ability to use mobile devices for collection of data and time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
