D.A. Collins Companies Pipe Foreperson in Wilton, New York

Collins Companies, Kubricky Construction Corporation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual for a full-time position as a Pipe Foreperson .
The Pipe Foreperson must have advanced understanding of heavy construction activities including utility installation, earth moving, landfill operations and traffic control.

Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).
Essential functions of the position will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure the safety of the work environment at all times by complying with Safety policies, rules and regulations
Manage work crews and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and per job specifications
Plan and coordinate daily operations in conjunction with project Superintendent including scheduling, materials ordering/inventory, and equipment needs/maintenance
Report labor, equipment and materials used
Analyze and report actual costs to budget
Communicate with other parties on the project including Superintendent, Project Manager, Engineers, Inspectors, Vendors and Construction Managers
Train employees in proper and safe procedures, leading by example
Read plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.)
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive construction experience
OSHA 10 (OHSA 30 preferred)
Must past post-offer drug screening and be subject to random, post-incident/accident and reasonable suspicion testing (Drug Free Employer)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on timewith record acceptable under company's insurance
Ability to rapidly learn computer and software applications for record keeping and reporting
Ability to travel out of town to worksites throughout NY and VT is required including night and weekend work as required

Base salary range:
Pipe Foreperson
$36,000-$112,500
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
