Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist near Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The role involves working in a healthcare management organization where the successful candidate will handle payroll processing and related tasks. The workplace environment is onsite with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
Experience with Peoplesoft OR ADP (paylocity is also a plus).
2+ years of experience in payroll processing (working with garnishments, deductions, taxes, etc.)
Willingness to communicate effectively, ask questions, and a strong detail-oriented mind for ensuring 100% accuracy.
