Job Description
The Auto Bus Company has a century-long history of providing exceptional services to travelers and tourists. We are a well-respected, modern transportation company that values diversity and hard work. We are seeking 15 drivers to join our State College, PA facility. These drivers will operate motorcoach buses on preestablished routes or take groups on tours across the country. The positions require travel with 75% being day trips, 20% 1-2 day overnights, and 5% 4+ day overnight trips. For overnight travel, drivers will be offered a per diem and accommodation costs will be covered. A CDL is not required to be offered the job, but you must attain your CDL to drive alone. We will pay for training and CDL certification.
Responsibilities
Operate motorcoach buses on preestablished routes or on tours across the country
Provide excellent customer service to passengers
Perform pre-route checks in the shop
Ensure safe and timely transportation
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on the road
Essential Skills
Previous driving experience
Strong tenure on resume
Customer service skills
Ability to attain a CDL certification
Good driving record
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with bus operation
Experience with truck driving
Class A CDL (preferred but not required)
Ability to travel frequently
Strong focus on safety

Work Environment
Drivers will spend 90% of their time on the road driving a motorcoach and 10% in the shop performing pre-route checks. The position involves frequent travel, including day trips, 1-2 day overnights, and occasional 4+ day overnight trips. Drivers will be provided with per diem and accommodation costs for overnight trips.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
