WIGGINS ELECTRIC Irrigation Specialist in Wiggins, Colorado
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
- Prior experience in pivot irrigation system maintenance, repair, or installation.
- Proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasionally on weekends or evenings.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
WAGE: $21.50/Hr.
DAYS/HRS.: Primarily daytime, but Weekends and Evenings req as needed
Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections of pivot irrigation systems to identify and address any issues or malfunctions. - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter replacement, and alignment adjustments to ensure optimal system performance. - Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems, and implement appropriate repairs. - Assist in the installation of new pivot irrigation systems, including assembly, wiring, and testing. - Collaborate with other team members to coordinate scheduling and prioritize tasks effectively. - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory levels. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
