Spherion Staffing LLC Controller in Wichita Falls, Texas
Spherion is hiring for an Accountant for a local business in Wichita Falls! The accountant will be responsible for all accounting and payroll functions with administrative duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: - Run check register each month - Oversee coding of all invoices
Accounts Receivable: - Manage drafts and transfers between financial accounts - Oversee accurate and timely billing for tenant services
Payroll: - Review timesheet coding - Manage GL entries - Process payroll checks
General Accounting: - Oversee month end closing - Assist in preparation of company tax documents
Miscellaneous Responsibilities: - Oversee accuracy of record keeping and filing - Maintain updated SOPs and Manuals for all departments - Oversee cleaning supplies inventory
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills: --Microsoft software proficiency. --Great communication and interpersonal skills --Organizational skills to prioritize workflow and respond to conflicting deadlines. --Attention to detail --Ability to work individually and with a team. --Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. --Results oriented
Education: High School
Experience: 1-4 years
Qualifications: Accounting experience required. Must submit to a background check and drug screen. High school diploma/ GED required
