As a Medical Biller for our company, you will play a significant role in ensuring accurate and prompt payment for our medical services. You will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, reviewing and coding patient information, submitting medical claims, and helping resolve insurance billing issues.
Responsibilities:
Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain missing information.
Submit billing data to insurance providers and patients.
Follow up on unpaid accounts and resolve billing issues.
Verify patients' insurance coverage details.
Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance payments.
Update billing software with rate changes.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow relevant healthcare laws and regulations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely billing services.
Process patient refunds.
Track and document denials, authorizations, and referrals.
