Reporting to the Manager, Capital Procurement, NandP Procurement, this position will support strategies to drive continuous improvement and cost savings related to capital spend. This role will involve finding synergies in spend across site capital projects and include significant interaction with stakeholders across Procurement and Site Operations teams. The Senior Advisor will help drive the development, implementation, and execution of procurement strategies, from initiation to value realization, while supporting the Procurement department's progress toward strategic goals and objectives.

This position can be based at any North American production site or office. This role

is not eligible for remote work and will follow Nutrien's minimum three-day in-office requirement.

What you will do: * Work closely with the Capital Manager to understand and support future capital purchasing needs: demand forecasting, developing SOWs, issuing RFP and RFI, and contributing to procurement strategies related to materials or services * Facilitate capital project/program reviews with sites and evaluate proposed capital projects for opportunity * Review project plans to collect data, make recommendations, and identify potential for materials or services savings potential to help inform capital strategy * Stay informed on capital projects by attending meetings across production sites and terminals and provide cross-site capital context to specific projects * Identify or develop preferred suppliers for shared materials or services by region with key cross functional input from site leaders, site procurement, category management, and central technical groups * Help set procurement strategy for capital spend based on project scope to reduce total cost of ownership and improve risk and supply assurance for the business * Support execution of capital sourcing initiatives with other parties including site procurement, engineering, category management, and other technical resources * Work with category management to develop supplier relationships, aid in agreement and contract creation, and ensure effective contract negotiations * Assist in creating contracts with capital projects details including scope, timing, KPIs, and other project requirements and that reflect maximum holistic value * Collaborate and coordinate with the ETC, Project Management Office (PMO) and Procurement Governance to ensure standards and guidelines are followed * Assist in the communication of updates and implementation of new contracts at sites * Identify "value beyond savings" through continuous improvement and efficiencies * Assist with monitoring contract compliance and value realization * Perform additional tasks as defined by the Capital Manager such as market intelligence, supplier landscape assessment, MSA reviews, risk assessments, total cost of ownership evaluation, legal engagement, commercial negotiations, bid evaluation, KPI evelopment, and supplier performance reviews

What you will bring: * 5+ years of relevant experience in projects, capital purchasing, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain * Minimum bachelor's degree in a related study and/or relevant experience * Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Inventory Management (CIPS), Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence are preferred * Preference will be given to experience at a large industrial site in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry and capital project and turnaround experience * Proven record in data analytics, Excel, Ariba, SAP, Oracle procurement/supply chain processes, negotiation techniques, and contract content

Compensation and Benefits:

SalaryRange $90,400 - $124,300 per year. This range is estimated for Senior Advisor, Capital Procurement for the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan

and long-term incentive plan [insert when Ltip eligible], consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
