Hello, NOW HIRING, Direct-Hire opportunity. Field Service Technician - Traveling A premier supplier of equipment and solutions to the print finishing, mailing and specialty packaging industries company is looking for a traveling Field Service technician to do: Installation & training, maintenance, repair, and set-up/calibration of equipment, onsite, over the phone and online troubleshooting. We're looking for someone with experience in plastic/gift card personalization, print-finishing, bindery and mailing, plastic card manufacturing
Technical Installation and support
Mechanical and electrical assembly, repair, troubleshoot, offer to train on equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using your mechanical skills.
Analyze electrical and electrical diagrams, and schematics.
Communicate with customers via phone or online to support technical questions.- Customer service
travel 50% of the time: local same day, some overnights required when traveling to other states

Responsibilities
● Technical installation and support of PFS equipment at customer sites.
● Travel around the U.S. to customer sites to perform service calls for training, repair, or installation of equipment.
● Communicate with customers via phone or online to support technical questions.
● Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using your mechanical skills.
● Communicate with internal PFS staff regarding parts and service-related issues.
● Advise management on the latest processes, upgrades, or applications of various components used on PFS equipment.
● Analyze electrical and electrical diagrams, and schematics.
● Participate in research and design or improvement of our products.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
