Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Westminster, Colorado. In this role, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks that involve working with accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries. Your workplace will be within a dynamic industry where you will engage with multiple systems including SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Executing intercompany debits and credits transactions
• Working proficiently within the General Ledger
• Managing and maintaining fixed assets records
• Handling leases and related accounting tasks
• Responding to audit requests with precision and timeliness
• Assisting with ad hoc items as and when required
• Displaying an entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to assist wherever needed
• Utilizing knowledge of SAP desktop, Excel, BlackLine, One Stream, or HFM
• Applying Oracle knowledge when necessary as some entities operate on it. Requirements • Possess strong proficiency in Month End Close procedures
• Demonstrable experience with Accruals
• Familiarity with Journal Entries is required
• Must have a solid understanding of the General Ledger
• Proficiency in SAP software is essential
• Experience with Oracle is a plus
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with BlackLine is highly desirable
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Familiarity with HFM software is beneficial
