Summary/Objectives: Leads the Quality Department, inclusive of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, and is responsible for the development, deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Essential Functions and Duties:
· Lead the Quality Department, inclusive of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
· Ensure the conformity of products and/or services delivered from the site with technical specifications and customer requirements
· Accountable for maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS.
· Monitor key performance indicators to report on the effectiveness of the QMS.
· Maintain applicable industry and regulatory certifications, e.g. AS9100, NADCAP.
· Manage and conduct an effective internal QMS audit program.
· Coordinate customer quality audits and timely responses.
· Manage third party compliance audits of our quality management system.
· Determine root cause of quality issues and drive effective corrective action.
· Participate in the design review and production readiness review processes.
· Accountable for Receiving, In-process and Final product quality inspections.
· Maintain all quality inspection equipment, inclusive of all calibration requirements.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Aerospace and product quality specific product knowledge
· Strong Communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)
· Structured problem solving skills in root cause analysis and defect reduction
· Strategic planning, resource allocation and employee development.
Required Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ equivalent experience in manufacturing
· Quality Assurance experience in the aerospace industry including AS9100 and FAA PMA / Repair Station experience
· Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience, Skills and Certifications:
· Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
· Certified Manager of Quality
· Experience in leadership of quality / technical organization
· Experience working in a electro-mechanical design & manufacturing environment
Up to 15% travel to Oklahoma
Salary Description
$100,000-$120,000
