OpTerra Energy Services Project Manager II (Utility Scale Renewable Projects) in Westminster, Colorado

What You Can Expect The Project Manager (PM) II will sit in Denver, CO and is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction, and commissioning of a utility scale renewable project throughout the US. The PM is responsible for managing execution of multiple engineering, construction, and procurement contracts. As a PM you will work with our internal and external teams, and subcontractors, to oversee the design of the project and will work with our on-site Construction Monitoring team to manage and monitor the work. Every day in this role the PM II will manage the project team including the contractors, owner-engineer, on-site construction monitoring team, and other project administration staff. The on-site team may include a staff of seven (7) to ten (10) persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control Manage multiple construction projects running concurrently Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews and Coordination with the local Utility, ERCOT, and Site Coordination Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety and Quality Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals, RFI's, and prepare Cost Forecast Reports Assist with pre-construction activities and with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes Provide Training and Mentoring to the on-site Construction Management Team Build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Team

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions Minimum of two (2) years related experience as a project manager with experience in constructing large utility scale renewable or complex construction projects Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills with Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing Hands on experience with hand tools and mobile equipment (excavator, bucket truck, boom lift, and mobile equipment) Ability to lead and adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment with problem-solving skills Collaborative approach to getting the work done Must be physically able to meet with contractors and perform site walks, ladder climbs at elevated heights, access and operate mobile equipment effectively to complete job assignments PMP or the ability to obtain PMP certification within 12 month of hire

Additional Details This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy Must be available to travel domestically up to 50% of the time Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record, for the use of use of hire cars when traveling, to drive to site locations and meetings Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation Salary Range: $84,000 - $128,800 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
