AXP PM role description

We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Product Management professional to execute on Trimble's new Account Experience Platform. This is a diverse role that ties together many business related workflows and surrounds our customer-facing product portfolio. Day to day activities include working with a wide range of stakeholders to gather requirements and synthesize those into valuable capabilities that support Trimble's diverse product portfolio.

Job Summary: Trimble's Account Experience Platform (AXP) is the central service where our customers manage their account details, manage licensing, and access support. It is a highly strategic part of Trimble's digital transformation efforts. As the AXP Product Manager, you will need to balance the demands of a web application in a growth stage with the needs of other products that are digitally transforming and dependent on AXP capabilities. Therefore, you will need to be decisive, highly organized, and driven to stay in touch with and manage stakeholder expectations. You are motivated to understand the challenges that these product teams face and are determined to leverage your creative product design skills in order to solve them. You are experienced in working in a SAFe/agile software development environment to improve and expand the product by means of frequent releases. What You Will Do:

Develop, own, and maintain the product strategy and short and long-term product roadmap and align the roadmap to the overall business strategy of Trimb

Understand customer/user personas and use cases to positively impact customer experience

Work with key stakeholders and other product managers to articulate strategy, vision, roadmap, and product feature availability

Break down high-level roadmap into functional and non-functional requirements, and write clear epics and user stories

Work closely with Engineering and UI design teams during backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups and, quarterly planning sessions

Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will actively participate in Construction Sector product alignment meetings, business reviews, and strategic account meetings with real customers

Work with Engineering architects to understand the ecosystem architecture, identify and communicate limitations and potential risks, while fully owning the functional aspects of the product

Contribute to data models and governance, domain models, and look for opportunities to surface valuable insights

Work with UX research teams to collect data necessary for understanding customer needs and areas for improvement.

Quickly grasps new concepts while developing trust and credibility with stakeholders Skills & Experience Required:

You have a Bachelor or Masters level of understanding in information science, business or information technology

You have an eye for detail but you are also able to work from a high-level overview

You have a passion for technology and a proven track record managing software products

You love working with product managers, software developers and UI/UX designers

You are well organized, efficient, and capable of prioritizing your work

You have strong analytical skills and are responsible for maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

You know how to negotiate priorities with different stakeholders by understanding their perspectives as well as knowing what's good for the customer You naturally align with the people around you (internal and external)
