Poly Lens Cloud Services Manager.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Poly Lens Cloud Service. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team responsible for the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our cloud-based service platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to ensure our services meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and user satisfaction.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful deployment and operation of software solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. The role defines and executes the overall software systems strategy, setting technical goals, priorities, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors designing and developing new software products, enhancements and updates.
Coordinates projects for systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
Develops and executes testing strategies to validate software system functionality, performance, and security.
Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.
Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.
Ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance software systems.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming language, or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $118,000.00 -- $181,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
