Position Description:

As the IT Security Officer, you will work with a Team to maintain the stability, availability and security of SSP networks. You will: Administer ACAS, ensuring all systems are properly scanned, agents are properly updated and deployed, and ACAS is updated Conduct routine and ad-hoc ACAS scans as required for the information system(s) Administer Splunk log server(s) to include log forwarders, creating/reviewing reports, dashboards, and analysis of abnormalities. Administer Endpoint Security Solutions, including Trellix Endpoint Security and Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator server Report findings to the ISSO and work with service area owners to mitigate, patch, or resolve findings Run Security Content Automation Protocol (SCA) tool and EvaluateSTIG on systems to validate system compliance with the DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG). Coordinate the closer of findings on the ATO Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) Support Risk Management Framework Milestones.

This position is located in Westminster, CO.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Conducts static and dynamic software analysis and software vulnerability testing

• Configure and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools

• Configure and monitor Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

• Supports efforts to integrate cybersecurity throughout the lifecycle of IT systems; this includes the development, review, and execution of cybersecurity-related artifacts, including System Security Plans, Cyber Security Strategies, Cybersecurity Impact Assessments, policies, plans, and procedures

• Continually assesses activities and controls to secure information

• Assess gaps in security and identify solutions to mitigate risk, including business processes, technical controls, and policy improvements

• Assist in the development of security policies, plans, and procedures to meet government regulations and industry best practices

• Build collaborative internal relationships with program and project teams, as well as external relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, other agencies and business partners

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

MUST have an active Secret or higher DoD security clearance*

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or related 4-year degree (experience accepted in lieu of degree)

• Fulfills the ISSO responsibilities defined in DoD Instructions 8500.01 and 8510.01, AFI17-101 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the Air Force Information Technology (IT)

• RMF security evaluations, risk and control assessments

• Familiar with the “DoD Program Manager’s Guidebook for Integrating the Cybersecurity (RMF) into the System Acquisition Lifecycle”

• Vulnerability management/scanning: ACAS, Nessus, SCAP

• Any security certs: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CySA+, Security+ or equivalent certification per DoD Directive 8570.1

• Knowledge of cybersecurity, networks, components, system protocols, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technology, and software development

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $165,200.00.
