Duties : Oversee Development/SDET teams and execute ideas within the financial space in a data centric environment. Deliver and maintain best-in-class software in support of the Advice Technology organization. Architect, design, and develop features for Advice wealth management platform. Impart and develop best practices in development and Architectural designs for the Advice platform. Engineer end to end feature development, integration tests, and unit test cases. Develop coding and design standards for applications and participate in architecture designing and review process. Create technical design documents and mentor developer(s) to develop robust applications. Fix application security vulnerabilities found through Sonar and Riskfabric scans and reduce security vulnerabilities for the application and for the organization. Manage and coordinate team interaction with business, technology, and production support partners. Enable and guide scrum/agile processes, DevOPs, CI/CD processes as well as focusing on continual improvement. Continually strive for improvements in process, talent acquisition/retention, and application time-to-market and quality assurance.
Salary: $178,500 to $210,800 per year
Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.
What you have
Job Requirements : Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-bachelor's related experience. Experience must include 6 years of experience in each of the following skills: Testing APIs and RESTful web services using Java/Python automation frameworks; Python, Unix, Java, Redis, SQL and Mongo databases (relational and noSQL key-value stores); Design Patterns (such as strategy or factory) in Python and Java; Using GitHub (or similar tool) as a source control system; CI/CD environment (GitHub, Concourse, Jenkins, or similar); Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr or similar); and Fixing application security vulnerabilities found through Sonar and Riskfabric scans.
