Charles Schwab Manager, Software Development & Engineering in Westlake, Texas

Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Provide development coding standards and guardrail Metrics; Ensure code quality with Pega Unit and implementing automated unit test plan on the Pega platform; Mentor junior team members in best practices and Standards; Align technical solutions with the platform and business strategy; Lead technical teams in delivering highly scalable and reliable applications that meet business budgets/timelines while ensuring alignment to strategic technology vision; and drive day-to-day activities and influence team members to leverage, follow and support agile software development practices. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $150,600 to $175,700 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires 4 years of related experience, which include some experience in each of the following skills: 1. Design and development with Pega PRPC 6 or higher; 2. Pega BPM , CRM, CSFS, and CPM framework implementations; 3. Relational Database such as, SQL, Oracle, and DB2; 4. Java, J2EE (Struts, Sprint, and Hibernate),Java Scripts, DHTM and XML; 5. Data Modeling using Microsoft Visio and UML; 6. Agile software development methodologies, values, and processes; And, 7. Test web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, and ASP) with Page Object Model, Optical Character Recognition and similar design patterns.
