Pay: $22/ hr
Location: Westlake, Ohio, 44145,
Shift: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Job Description:
Support R&D department which focuses on NPD, cost, quality, supply assurance and operations support for our Battery Group
Work within the R&D lab environment- testing new products – chemicals & components.
Perform tests on components/chemicals as per the test plan provided by R&D engineers.
Follow Standard Operating procedure (SOPs) & JSAs while conducting lab tests. Occasionally working with compressed air, nitrogen and some aerosol products
Will be performing wet chemistry tests on products.
Will perform Acid baths.
Adequately follow safety requirements and policies
Help to ensure lab equipment and materials are organized and help with drafting of SOP/JSA.
Data entry and update of the formulation information.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Biology or related science with Chemistry coursework. someone with lab experience (use of misc. lab equipment, data recording)
Experience working within a lab environment
Proficient with utilizing lab tools and equipment Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to follow SOP efficiently Strong organizational skills (multi-task) Critical thinking skills Initiative and follow through
