Change Analyst in
Westerville, Ohio
- Responsible for supporting the setup, release and process for new part numbers and changes to bills of materials.
- Work with Service Procurement, Service Buyer and Service Engineering for new SKU setup and BOM input.
- Receive and review submitted ECO/ECNs and assigns appropriate cross-functional approvers based on content and business rules.
- Coordinates and ensures that the process has been followed, that data integrity is maintained and that the correct CCB has received all approvals prior to release.
- Become knowledgeable of all ECO/ECN process documents and be able to point engineers to the correct training resource.
- Track team's submitted ECO/ECNs through systems and processes to ensure timely completion.
- Process Vertiv Services CO and NRCO though the CCB and CCO approval process.
- Review all Change Requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Assign tasks to SME for review and approval to Change Requests
- Follow up with all assignees to complete any work required outside of PD Cloud
- Follow up with CCB and CCO members on signoff and approval
- Stay up to date with PD Cloud updates and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Act as a backup Change Originator in Services when required due to business conditions or associate PTO coverage.
- Maintain and track pending changes and report evolution of these changes to management when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering disciplines preferred.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., APMG Change Management or similar) is a plus.
- Green Belt or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- 5+ years technical or directly related experience with Engineering Change orders implementation and/or BOM creation.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud or any other ERP usage.
- Computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft-Office suite, especially handling Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Ability to facilitate positive and effective cross-functional relationships across multiple LOBs and geographic locations.
- Strong project-management skills.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
