Insight Global Asset Process Manager - Hardware/Software in Westerville, Ohio

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Asset Process Manager to work for a large financial customer of ours. This individual would be responsible for ensuring processes are fit for purpose, well documented, validating documentation is being followed (governance structure), and engaging to understand if/when they are not (using aligned process metrics). Perpetual interactions with stakeholders to review their data and identify improvement opportunities would be a part of this. This organization could also be on point for audit and risks concerns related to execution or management of processes. Responsibilities may include:

  • Act as a key contributor to implementing the Asset Management process (Hardware and Software)

  • Manage and improve interactions between Asset and multiple ITIL processes.

  • Establish formal IT Service Management practices leveraging ITIL v4 best practices.

  • Develop metrics and governance programs and documentation for ITIL processes.

  • Participate in developing IT strategy and ensuring that processes support those objectives.

  • Partner with Vendor Management organization to ensure supplier contracts support the organizational transition to ITIL best practices.

  • Develop strong relationships with technology and business leaders.

  • Establish performance reporting for all IT teams and leadership, providing direction and support to drive sustained IT service delivery improvements.

  • Comfortable developing and managing continual improvement plans for all ITIL processes.

  • Develop, align, and continually improve process documentation.

We are looking for a go-getter who has demonstrated managing large organizational changes with excellent communication and collaboration skills and is comfortable operating in a white space without direction while developing strategies and improvement plans. This individual must be local to either Phoenix, AZ or Columbus, OH and comfortable working in the office 4 days per week.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience with Enterprise ITIL process management with demonstrable expertise in at least one of these process areas, at minimum the following process areas: Asset, Configuration, CMDB, Change, Incident, Problem, and Event processes.

  • Experience managing Software and/or Hardware assets (software preferred) and strong understanding of the Asset Management lifecycle

  • Experience implementing enterprise processes and/or transitioning organizations to new ITSM platforms or processes.

  • Confident and composed communicator with experience presenting to C-level leaders. - Foundational and intermediate certifications in ITIL v3/4, and operational knowledge of CoBit, DevOps, Agile, Lean development, and/or Six Sigma preferred

  • Previous experience working with Business Architecture concepts (TOGAF)

  • Prior Enterprise Vendor Management experience preferred null
