Job Details Job Location Wenatchee - Wenatchee, WA Position Type Full Time   Salary Range $21.00 - $24.00 Hourly Travel Percentage Up to 50% Description Wage: $21.00 - $24.00 Benefits: * Medical/Dental * FSA * 403(b) Retirement * Additional Voluntary Benefits * Paid Holidays * Vacation/Sick Leave * Education Assistance Program * Employee Assistance Program * Longevity awards Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Vocational/Employment Specialist provides employment and vocational services to adults with serious mental illness and with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. The service to consumers will be to expedite, facilitate, and/or coordinate their total recovery process. This person makes appropriate referrals to established employers in coordination with the consumers' desires, work history and employment goals. Responsibilities: Develops daily living and job interviewing skills for consumers Works with area employers to establish appropriate referrals for job placement Meets with community employers to assist with consumer and employer issues Meets with the PACT Team Program Manager to report on consumer issues, problems or concerns with area employers and supervision. Assists in the development of employment program plans, strategies for clients within the program and follows clients while they are employed. Assures that all vocational endeavors are in line with the guidelines and procedures Attends all team meetings Writes appropriate documentation of vocational/employment services provided Works with the PACT Team Program Manager to update & develop appropriate mission, goals, practices and guidelines, and procedures for the vocational/employment program. Writes appropriate documents, directives and statements relating to employment and/or other issues of concern within the program. Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources and employers to coordinate patient treatment with clinical staff or other providers and initiate referrals to providers of other community resources when appropriate. On-call and medication monitoring Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements: The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this clinical position. Physical Requirements: This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision and skill. Non-Physical Requirements: Education Master's Degree preferred Bachelor's Degree, Required Experience 1 year experience in coordination of employment and/or vocational services Special Skills Electronic Medical Records skills (EMR) Good interpersonal skills Possess and utilize effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide service in a culturally competent manner Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and as a team member Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community Ability to conduct client home visits as needed Knowledge of team management/supervision Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required Licenses, Registration or Certification
