Robert Half Software Developer in West Trenton, New Jersey
Description We are in search of a Software Developer to join our team located in West Trenton, New Jersey. The individual will play a critical role in enhancing our capabilities through the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire solutions to support our business processes and improve our insurance operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable Guidewire solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in system testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Guidewire applications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code and system configurations.
• Stay up-to-date with Guidewire technology advancements and industry best practices.
• Use skills in Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS to enhance development and troubleshooting capabilities. Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Struts is mandatory for this role
• Backend Development experience is required
• Mastery of C++ programming language is essential
• Database management skills are necessary
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required
• Experience with AB Testing is crucial
• Knowledge of Ajax is necessary for this position
• API Development skills are required
• Proficiency in ASP.NET is essential
