ManpowerGroup Supplier Change Control - I in West Point, Pennsylvania

Our client, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the U.S., is looking for a Supplier Change Control - I (Assistant) which is West Point, PA.

Job Title: Supplier Change Control - I (Assistant)

Location: West Point, PA

Pay rate: $50 Per HR

Must haves:

  • Traditional suppliers change control role.

  • Change control/change management and project management experience are the top 2 skills looking for.

  • Need more experience/knowledge on the technical side (not technical from an IT standpoint) – pharm/GMP, technical from an engineering perspective/manufacturing side (manufacturing/GMP terminology)

  • There will be a technical writing piece.

  • BS in Engineering or Materials Science.

  • Vendor notification changes to assess, need to manage their own change request notifications (this PM skill side), need to manage their own time, they could have 15 to 20 at a time that they must manage.

  • Interviewing and collaborating with a lot of groups, be able exchange information, get information, not be afraid to ask questions, proactive

  • Change management experience

  • Personality type- Outgoing, collaborator, quick learner, good at sharing/receiving information Department culture- A lot of collaboration between change owners and support groups.

  • Needs to work well with others to get things accomplished.

Typical day

  • Person would be given a number of vendor change notifications to assess (a couple new each week).

  • Assess the change, impacts to Client’s operations, work with planning group.

  • Would also need to manage their existing change notifications (timeframes, tasks, etc.).

  • Works with different partner groups (regulatory, validation, etc.). Will manage about 15-20 changes at a time (depends on complexity, etc.)

Qualifications (Needed for this role)

  • Education: BS Required - Engineering/Materials Sciences.

  • An engineering degree is preferred, but would consider a materials science degree for the right candidate.

  • Individuals will be executing Vendor Change notifications.

  • Individuals will need to work within site systems for update and have interaction with customer for Impact.

  • Candidate should have 2+ yrs. experience minimum.

  • Candidate must have good technical writing capabilities, Ability to multi-task/manage priorities, Ability to collaborate with others, demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility and ability to work in a team environment,

  • Proven analytical abilities, and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

  • Project management experience and Change control experience MOST preferred.

  • Client experience is desirable.

  • Validation, Deviation, Capa are nice to have skillsets.

  • Experience with systems like Viva Vault, SAP, etc. are nice to have skillsets.

Responsibilities:

  • Individuals will be responsible for the execution of Vendor Change notifications.

  • They will be responsible for providing and occasionally leading technical support to the manufacturing areas.

  • The individual will work as an individual contributor, adding to the performance and results of the department.

  • Provides technical guidance. Anticipates and interprets client and/or customer needs to identify and implement solutions.

  • Minimal supervision, guidance, and direction is employed by the supervisor, however, periodic checks and reports are required to review soundness of technical judgment and the status/schedule of the effort.
